The design orientation takes advantage of the open views towards the east and encompasses the character of the surrounding area. Rainwater harvesting schemes have been incorporated to provide water for flushing toilets. This reduces rainwater runoff and the use of potable water.
Glenhaydan
Large detached five bedroomed home constructed within the Ashford Carbonel conservation area. The brick and oak timber frame design reflects the character of the Tudor style of many of the existing dwellings, constructed within this historical village. Energy saving features include solar panels mounted on the south facing roof providing domestic hot water.
Loft Conversion
Loft conversion carried out to a modern 2 bedroom semi-detached house providing additional accommodation and third bedroom. Technical challenges included installing the second flight of stairs whilst maintaining maximum usable space on the first floor.
